Sharron Jordan &
The IdeaPaint Tree
Sharron Jordan, a creative designer from San Diego, decided to apply IdeaPaint in her daughter’s bedroom in order to inspire her imagination and creativity. Instead of painting a traditional strip or wall, she painted an image of a tree over a baby blue wall for her daughter to draw and doodle on. Sharron quickly documented her daughter’s ongoing artistic endeavors and shared the images with her online network. This creative, aesthetically pleasing use of IdeaPaint has attracted the attention of numerous design bloggers and has inspired many parents to create unique IdeaPaint surfaces for their own children.
One day Evert Schaeffer and his wife looked at their bathroom and decided it was looking slightly dated. They began to look for quick and simple methods to spruce up the bathroom. They wanted something their children could enjoy and have fun with. After stumbling upon an article on IdeaPaint in the Netherlands’ Bright Magazine, they had their answer. The Schaeffer family covered their bathroom wall tiles with IdeaPaint. The children love to play and write on the surfaces and use sections of the walls for birthday calendars and to document other fun family events. Evert says “We are now waiting to see what our visitors and guests write when they are in our bathroom.”
Say goodbye to messy kitchen corkboards. Jill Bechaz from Chicago used IdeaPaint CRE-8 colors to transform a wall in her kitchen into a place to share information and creativity. On her IdeaPaint-coated wall, Jill keeps a grocery list, messages to and from her family and a calendar of all their appointments and events.
