The next generation of leaders won’t be experts in a single field. They’ll be multi-disciplinary thinkers, cut from the same cloth as someone like John Maeda.
Very few people have mastered the crossover between art and technology the way Maeda has. He seemingly built the bridge that connects the two. Currently a Design Partner at @KPCB, he juggles boards and councils appointments at major consumer brands, and is also a professor at the MIT @MediaLab. Not to mention, he just finished a stint as @RISD‘s 16th President. That’s quite a resume.
Maeda’s pioneering a new kind of creative leadership and creating a new framework for others to follow. His TedTalk delves into why inspiring the next generation to think holistically about art, design, technology is just what the world needs.
